Overview
Carlos A Plancarte, MD, is a pediatric hospitalist whose research focuses on healthcare co-management as well as healthcare equity. His particular interests lie in surgical co-management and behavioral health equity. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Arlington and medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his pediatrics residency at the Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital and fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore. During his training he also received a master's degree in clinical research methods at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
